Project Oh Sherri

Hi my name is Sam I'm 16 years and I live in Richmond Virginia . I've only had my license for 2 months. I am a proud owner of a 96 jeep cherokee (XJ). I bought the jeep stock in really had condition with 177k miles and beat to hell. The only reason I bought it was because that's all I could afford with minimum wage job at Famous Daves. I purchased the jeep for $1,700 and at that time I had no clue what I was getting my self into. What was once just a piece of crap is now a beautiful beast "Project Oh Sherri" a 96 jeep cherokee on 33" with 6.5 rough country lift. I love my jeep so much even though it sucks on gas it's worth every penny. This jeep has been a step by step process, ive used every pay check on Oh Sherri. I would love to someday join an off road club in virginia.

you might need to put one more attachment onto the front or even rear of your vehicle, do you have a rake? or maybe a trash can anywhere on there? JK JK just personally that is AWFUL PLACEMENT FOR A HI-LIFT Jack. just my opinion though! which means nada! looks great though.

Good looking Jeep, especially for a first ride!

I gotta agree the hilift mount scares the **** out of me though.

That is a great transformation! Man that lift is rad! I see you have the Curt Roof rack. Is your rack with the extension? I just bought one tonight. I can't wait to get it in! Dude for a first ride you picked a great one.

Nice job. Funny you think it is "worn out" - you would never find something in that good shape in the rusty Northeast for $1700! The uh-oh that might bite you, however, is the automagic... treat it good and change the fluid.

You do have a nice Jeep and I wish that I had one at your age.

There are a few different Jeep groups in Richmond you could look into. I have wheeled with a few of them at different times and they are a good group of people.

Here is one: http://www.meetup.com/RVA-Rock-Crawlers/
