Got busy with Christmas and such here lately, but I'm hoping to get the sliders ground down, painted, and on this weekend.

In other news I ordered front bumper mounts from AJs this morning so there should be a front bumper in the works soon.

Also ordered this bad boy which should come in handy when I cut up my rear quarters to fit 35s here soon and chop the top off this spring.

Spent more on the plasma cutter than I did the Jeep.

Jeep is looking good, dude. What's your lift height going to be with 35's?

2" still, but the 2" shackles I've got are too much for the stock leafs so the rears sagging. I'm going to get 2" OME leafs and go back to stock shackles. I may go to 3", but not til I replace at least the rear axle. I'll probably go up to 37s instead when I go to 3" though and that definitely won't happen til I can replace the axles.

Got ya. You will love the low stance, but I got to ask you, what does your wheeling consist of? If it's rocks, you got to watch a lot of things being that low in a wagon. I'm at 3" and 35's and love it, but I have done a pile of work to get to where I am and I am far from done.

More mud than anything around here, but I occasionally go out to the OHV trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway, OBX, ect. Never been a huge rock fan. 90% of where I wheel is places I've been going to since I was a kid anyway.

Cool. If you ever get bored and want to try some rocks, drive up to Crozet for some good wheeling. Shoot me a PM if you are ever interested. RCPFA.com is their website.

Just redid my dash bulbs with LEDs. Glad they came in 2 packs because pre-97 requires 6, not 5 lights. Type 74 wedge base. Still waiting on the HVAC ones to come in.

Going to work shortly to get the base part of my front bumper fabbed up and installed.

What color did you go with? Pics?

Sent from under my Jeep.

I'm not saying we should kill stupid people... Just get rid of all the warning labels...
If you find my comments to "infer" something, they don't. Go to hell.

Here's what I did on the front bumper today. Still waiting on round tube for the rest of it.

Mounts are from AJ's Offroad, square tube is 2x2x.25

Ignore the broken oil gauge and lack of light behind the tach, the LEDs are polarized and it's hard to tell which is in wrong during the day, just need to flip one of the lights around tomorrow. Entire swap took less than 5 min. Pic doesn't really do it justice for how much better it looks.

Unless it's different in 96 you just pull the bezel right off then remove the 6 black screws holding the gauges in and they pop right out as one unit. Bulbs just twist and pull right out.
