Dude that's sweet. I want an older Cherokee so bad. I'm tired of all my electronic stuff and the later xj problems. I'm used to my 77 cj

Yea lol i think im just gonna go 2inch budget lift in my xj and go back to 265/75/15s there not as wide as 31s and only like an 1/8th of an inch shorter so 2inch spacers for front springs and 2inch rear shackles for the rear or would it be better to block up the leafs?

Shackle if you wheel at all, better ride also.
You could also go 1.5" and cut the fenders, that way if you want 33s down the road you just have to buy adj control arms, springs, and leafs.

You don't want 2" shackles on stock leafs. You'll get a horrible shackle angle and it puts way to much stress on the leafs and makes your rear end sag a lot faster. Made that mistake on mine and they've noticeably sagged about an inch in just a couple months.
