Also I think I forgot to post that I went wheeling in my woods the other day with no front driveshaft and ripped my upper control arm mount off and had to drive it back home with just the lowers lol. My coils hated me as well as my oil pan and trackbar became good friends. But I welded on a barnes4wd upper link mount today and its much more beef than my mount I made and I welded this one right so hopefully it wont rip off

I never expected a coil suspension to be as sketchy with no shocks as it is though. Its so bouncy. I drove my cj with no shocks for a month and was comfortable doing it. Coils are just much softer I guess

Got the bilsteins on and they feel NICE. Jeep needs an alignment real bad but other than that I dont have much left. Theres a little play somewhere in the front that makes a clunk sound on bumpy roads and dirt roads. Brand new heims in tracbar and theres 0 play. Shocks are nice and tight and it did it before that. No sway bars. Brand new heims on upper control arms and the johnny joints I have on the lowers rode great before I swapped axles. Confused

Just took the jeep to a shop to get an alignment and they are doing new upper balljoints and tie rod ends too. Could have done it myself but why not let them do it. 770 bucks

A good alignment is pretty important with a dd. So is balanced wheels. 770 for alignment balancing wheels and tre's and the balljoint is a fair price. It will get me driving again and thats what I need

I could to but being able to drive is high on my priority list. So is being able to drive in a straight line. If I had any kind of knowledge on alignments I might try it but I dont. If I had my own tire balancing machine id do it. If the balljoints and tie rods werent needed for an alignment I would have waited to do it myself
