Wow, nice work. Thats a great looking Jeep. They both are actually. You will love the '00 especially when you get it all dolled up like your '96 was. Keep up the good work. I love the white.

thanks guys, its been a long 9 months since i drove a lifted jeep. felt good... just have to get it aligned now. now i have to strip the black one down and get it out of my site, kills me everytime i look at it!!

Don't be too quick to toss the black carcass! Even though it took a salt water bath, and it is stripped bare, someone out there building a crawler, or desert race truck might want to take it off your hands.

As long as you gave the underside a good pressure wash (in the frame too) and pulled the interior, I don't see how the sea water would have damaged it to the point that it could not be used for a dedicated off road only truck, maybe a mudder.

Going to strip out what I'm using then I will part it out. The body is in great shape. I pulled the interior pretty quick and hosed the jeep down. It does have rust on the floors but that's it.
