question to you than sir

VHT'd my rear lights, (minus the reverse), and put in LEDs. Brightness still meets DOT standards and they are definitely bright enough, would you fail me? Or are you some sadistic failing machine?

Are they both actually yours?

Also, how on earth do you have an XJ with all of the windows working, are you some kind of wizard?

Seriously, our 92 YJ was purchased by my parents in Jan 92 while I was still in HS. We picked her up in 09 to bring her from Ca to Va (yes cross country roadtrip) and I sold MY car in 09 and picked up a POS ZJ which we sold a few months later and picked up MY XJ. So yes they are both actually mine and my hubbys. I drive them both. I wrench on them both. As far as the windows, we pulled the boot in the door, found broken wires and fixed them.

In Utah any tint or covering over the factory headlight, tail lights, Turnsignals, and side markers is illegal and is supposed to be an automatic failure unless it is a Red Tint on the rear that is ok.

I just got pulled over like an hour ago for tinting my taillights, I taped off the reverse light but tinted the rest

That sucks, I always worry about getting pulled over because of that. How dark are your tails?

Compared to other Jeeps, they are cheap. Compare a 1999 TJ to an XJ, for example.
