Looks good

Is the fairlead connected to the bumper?

wouldn't that damage/rip it if you were winching at angle

Looks great, where did you get the brackets etc? Does the front bumper get pushed out a little?

On earlier XJs, the front bumper gets pushed out forward and they have to add special bumper end caps and covers to the top of the bumper:

yea my bumper got pushed out a little. i had all the original bumper covers and extensions but i opted to use the plastic strip that is on the back bumper of a wj (where you load the cargo in). It looks like it should be there and fits the contour of the bumper perfectly and hides everything nicely. I like a really clean stock appearance on my jeeps and i am happy with how it turned out.

the bumper cant bend around the fairhead because the winch support bars are RIGHT up against it.

I am pretty sure this was only an option on the pre-96 ones and not the 97+ XJs. So you must have the older extensions then.

This is a very cool place for a winch. I know that these are extremly rare options. Would you have any measurements off of the mounting plates? Are they made out of 3/16 or 1/4? If I cant find one maybe I can try to make one
