We RARELY get snow days. and I don't think it messes up your alignment, usually only hitting things hard would mess it up I think.

dont look like much in the pics, but those bumpers are like 30 and 50 pounds a peice... i dont have rocker armour yet, but im busy with my bike, come summer im thinking ill probably do rocker replacement, my rockers are rusty and dented a bit.

sorry for the hijack

lo tho i wheel through the valley of the shadow of death, i will fear no obsticle, for my jeep is with me. thy armour and tires, they comfort me. you lead me to lay down rubber on big rocks, and drive you through deep waters.
you prepare a place for me at the end of tough trails, and you anoint my driveway with oil. surely your awesomeness and the smell of burning motor oil will follow me all of the days of my life, and i will dwell in the house of the jeep forever. amen.

so far, put the truck on the nose once, pushed over a corner fence post, ran over a medium-ish tree to see if i had the horses, and literally pretty much flattened a grocery cart. that babys solid. the back bumper needs unibody tie-ins, but right now the rear bumper hasnt got any tow points anyways. i just use the hitch.

the c-channel and the mounts are the part that are beefiest, the tube is only 1/8th wall, the mounts and c-channel are 1/2" plate grade. expensive stuff, but lighter than plain steel and solid

that front bumper has been yanked on pretty hard, buried her in sand up to the rockers and had a double pull on the front end, she held nicely

This is my driveway this summer with my chili pepper red xj, my sisters silver xj, GC limited, and friends Rubicon.

Heres the 2 XJs after being washed.

I'm lifting the Red XJ probably at the end of the summer, thinking the 2.5 OME with 30" BFG T/As, or the RE 3.5 with 31s. Suggestions?

1998 Chili Pepper Red XJ. Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow. Lift in the future.

Okay, last bit of hijack ... I dig the paint job and I like the bumpers. The "stinger" ... not so much.

You need far more armor than that if you do anything besides parking it, but I can see all that steel turning some heads! Thanx for pix!

I'll park next to a nicely equipped TJ at school if I can. I parked next to it with the intention of crawling around under it one time, only to find the owner was still sitting in it having breakfast.

Has anyone ever done that before? Randomly crawl under lifted Jeeps in parking lots? Somebody please tell me I'm not the only one.

Eat healthy, exercise hard, and die anyway
