Panel XJ. Thoughts?

I could never get the panel this flat.
If I did this I'd probably pull the windows and panel adhesive the filler piece over the weatherstripping "tab"

secure the back of the Jeep from prying eyes/tools maybe.
I guess with the big back window it's pointless but I take my Jeep to the range to go shooting. Afterwards I can't ever stop for lunch because you can see, and if you have ever pulled out one of those windows get access to, the interior.

Also I like the 60s panel vans.

I thought of something like this...You know the advertising vinal that goess on vehicle Windows you can see out but not in so I think that style in whatever colour the jeep is would give the panel van effect but keeps Windows fuctional

Paint a Unicorn or flaming Pegasus or something on the panel.

I dunno.. If they want to get in they will. If i was worried about gun transport I'd probably build a lock box in the back

Always loved the look of panel vans/wagons...but on a XJ it would look best done on a 2 door. That factory XJ panel looks funky being a 4 door.

'98 XJ - lift, lockers, tires, flares...the usual crap
'00 Softail - pipes, apes, chrome bits...more of the usual crap

X2 on the 2dr! I'd do it to mine if I hadn't found one with the wing windows.

Add some flames and some swirling spheres and maybe some lighting bolts and you got it.

I thought this was a dumb idea until the wizard.

Imo it's pretty pointless though since people can still look through the hatch. When I took my guns to the range I'd just lay them down across the floor in the back seat and flip the back seat up if I didn't want people to see them.

I could see blacking them out with some vinyl adhesive or something though, but again, pretty pointless since you can't really do the hatch window.

I always wanted to do this to my XJ, but never got around to it before I cut the top off.

I kinda like the look. Its not functional, but I like the look.

I am partial to panel-type vehicles. I used to have a 73 Dodge B100 with a built 360 in it. Sounded and ran like a BEAST! My best time was 14.7 (seriously.) Sadly I had to get rid of it because I had no space for it.
