why not just buy a roll of black carpet at pepboys?
Why not just rip it out entirely? Or replace with rubber.

I actually think the Black carpet looks good, I would think it wouldn't last though. You'll have to bump this thread in a few months and let us know how it held up. The other draw back I can see is getting high on fumes the first few times you drive

Hi Guys, I thought I'd post a few new photos of the results of my painting the interior of my XJ with Duplicolor Fabric and Vinyl Paint. It's looking pretty good...

I fear that if the paint doesn't hold up you have just turned this XJ into another beater.

but it does indeed look good.

Looks good.

If this holds up, I am painting my tires gloss black.

Recently dyed my ZJ projects carpet, think it turned out well and no rough texture.

Carpet Dye Type & Method

What kind of carpet dye did you use? How is this done? I figure if my paint wears off I could try the dye. I think the Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric paint will work pretty well on the vinyl surfaces but Im not so sure about the carpet and seats...
