painting my jeep Krylon Olive Drab

so i am planing on doing it this weekend and i bought the paint and everything. and now i am thinking about like putting white army style stencil writing on it, and i was thinking of putting the name of my off road club on it in that style writing and put like army style stars before and after the name. also i was thinking of putting USA on it in that same lettering. but then i was thinking i don't want to offend any of our great soldiers, cause i have the greatest respect for them. do y'all think that me doing this would offend them in anyway?
thanks
mike

I've thought about it too. I wouldn't put something like "ARMY" on it. A star sure, but not anything that makes it look like you're pretending to be a serviceman.

I don't see any problems at all. If it made you feel better, you could always put something like "support our troops" somewhere on it

I was thinking of the same thing to do with mine but I like more of the service look without words and s**t. If anything it would look cool to do like "88XJ" on it because only Jeep guys would know what your talking about and it would look regular to the general public. Or my other thought was to do all the Jeep insignia on the rig in yellow.

Yeah.. All I had on hand was a can of black gloss. Will be repainting them this week. They had been in storage for a few months and I kinda wanted them back on before they got lost.

Diskman I think it's amazing that you have a 1984 XJ... because that is the year I was born. It looks great. Is that Krylon?
