Painted my chrome to black.

Been wanting to paint the chrome grill and headlight bezels on my '92 Laredo black. Finally got around to it today. Just used a Rustoleum semi gloss rattle can. I like the way it turned out!

Looks great! You use any primer or do much surface prep? Paint likes to flake off chrome over time.

No I didn't do anything but make sure it was clean. If and when it flakes I'll do some real prep.

For further readers, use plasti dip. That way your chrome doesn't get ruined and the plasti dip can be peeled off. It's self leveling incase it chips, just touch it up. Can be bought in numerous colors as well I did this to my wagoneer front clip vs paint. That way if I sell it and someone wants chrome then its still there and protected
