Off Topic

This is off topic for this forum but since I see so many references to getting parts from the junk yard I thought the junkies here would get a nut and feel like a one-eyed dog in a butcher shop at this JY in Thailand.

Man, nevermind finding the Jeep you need for parts.

That place is a matter of which part do you want.

I spent several nights in Bangkok in 1967 - while on R&R. What a trip!

Edit: The only Jeep I knew of back then was the GI Jeep I was assigned.

I was just looking at your Jeep pics in your profile. Nice rigs.

I noticed you stenciled "TP35" above the wheels on that doorless XJ. Good stuff. We had the TP on our M151A's just like that.

I've been thinking about getting a new Wrangler and put my XJ out to pasture.

I did a very short stint in the Marine Corps my self. Honorably discharged due to training injury. No regrets. Although the XJ's were never used as a combat or field vehicle in the US military, I pretty much built and decorated the 91 to what I thought they would look like if they did. A tribute more or less and Thanks a lot, it's always cool to have another Jeep guy appreciate my ride.
