The not so cool build...

Alright so here is the build thread... I will be updating as the project goes on blah blah blah like all the other build threads anyways lets see...

Jeep Started as a 2000 Cherokee Classic basic stuff then moved onto become this.. "see pic below" 6.5inch Rustys L/A with full bell skids and diff guards... 4.88 gears locked f/r with some good ol wackers.

Just 2 days after I had everything going good all pretty and what not My Jeep got smashed by an idiot who ran a red light... nothing to serious happend to my Jeep other then Upper control arm mount bent and threw the steering all outta whack... his insurance covered everything!

It took insurance almost 2 months before they had it in the shop so I took the fender off and rode around like this...

Finally after it came out of the shop it looked like so... They replaced my tranny cooler front bumper/tow hooks and aligned the steering. but did nothing about the upper control arm mount... this is what it looked like... and this is pretty much how it sat for a few months since I moved from NC to GA damn army!

This is from the area we moved to its BEAUTIFUL HERE!!!

what issues?

If you cant get the axle to line up, just jack the axle up or down to align it

Well it turned out the 14 bolt was for a dually. I came across a d44 front and AMC 20 HD out of a Wagoneer Chief "wide trax axles" complete with steering linkage (drag link and tie rod), brakes etc. for 300 bux! the guy is gonna take them out this week and I will pick them up next weekend!
