Made out of emt conduit 3/4 inch, angle iron, flat bar, and those eyes.
Conduit tubing and all 90 degree bend and couplings cost me around $80
16 and 22 guage sheets around $30
8 eyes around $10
Angle iron $9
3 cans of semi gloss paint and 1 can of primer $20
Self tapping skrews $6

I made the side plates out of 16 guage sheet metal and the corners out off 22 guage since its easy to bend.

Part of my bucket for my KC light made out of 16 guage. Used card board to make my shape then layed down on metal and traced and cut then bent it

Attached with self tapping skrews to rack

Made these out of the same tubing for the side supports crushed with vise and ends hammerd flat to use self tapping skrews to bolt on

Made support for the factory roof rail so all the weights not on the plastic roof bars. Made from flat bar and angle iron. With felt underneith the angle iron

Mounted to factory roof rails with a hose clamp holding down the conduit clamp. I did not do much welding on this rack and if anybody wanted to make one with out welding it is possible. The rack is very light also not sure of the exact weight. I still have to order clamps to mount my shovel to the side. Made it at around $150
