Last time I went wheeling I had power steering issues, it would fade when it got really hot so I did some upgrading.

I put this cooler in the circuit along with a flush and put in royal purple fluid



I also put in a genright 10% overdrive pully, it steers easier now, I'll find ou how it does next time I go wheeling:

hey man, i remembered a while back you had asked me if there was any good wheeling in michigan, but i had moved to utah for college. well im back in the mitten for the summer we gotta meet up some time, i've been a fan of your jeep and fab skills. maybe a trip to bundy hill is in our future, see if there is anything half decent there. my jeep needs a little bit of work before it goes out, but after that i'd love to get out again.

Hey, when you get some time on the overdrive pulley let me know, my xj is on 35's that i just recently got, also where did you pick it up at?

I haven’t put a ton of wheeling time with the 35s but ever since the cooler and pulley I have yet to have any steering problems. Short of some type of assist set up it was well worth the 100 bucks, but I would also add in a cheap steering cooler also. I got it from Genright...

Havent been keeping up on here... but I havent done much to the jeep...so heres a cap of the last few months....

Cleaned it good..if you have never clay bared your jeep I recommend it it made it look 110% better.... Replaced the crappy s-10 bastard packs with some nice BOR 4.5 super flex packs. Took it wheeling for the first time in Michigan and blew my driveshaft up, good thing I had a spare. Then didn't do much for a few months, decided I wanted to lower it a bit, so I found some 4.5 inch coils and swapped them for my 6.5s, still need to figure out what to do with the rear. I like how it sits now. I'm finally getting out for some wheeling this weekend so I'll see how it does...

Thanks! The stang isn't mine, it's my buddies who likes to come over and use my tools! Its an 02 with a turbo kit, its pretty fun...

Haha, I have a few buddies like that. Looks like a sharp car, I sold my full bolton 01 GT last year to clear up some money for our house and now 10 month old daughter. Those things are equally as addictive and wallet draining as Jeeps, probably why I never had money when I had both lol.
