finished welding up all the brackets and links and truss, then took some random pictures today.

i then played around on the lift to check for shock length and flexing

i had to stop because checking flex on a lift is kind of sketchy, but i still had 4" more of downtravel and 2" of up travel left in the front. so i need to put it on a ramp to see what it can really do flex wise.

coil buckets and bumpstops done, shock hoop almost done but i ran out of gas for the mig. and i painted the crossmember and links.

also spent about $40 on bolts for everything and switched out coils again. i am now using rear coils out of an LJ with a set of isolators

I won't lie, I read your sig really quickly and was like "meh, another jeepforum Cherokee.."

But that 4-link came out really nicely. Are you going to run limit straps? Realistically that amount of flex is pointless if your coils are unseating by such a large amount that only your bumpstop is keeping it in line, IMO.

And please get rid of that front bumper!

there will be some limiting straps. but, for Jeep Beach the shocks will be my limiting straps because well.....they are just some cheap gas charged 13" shocks. and i dont mind damaging them

the coils may unseat, but it's still keeping that tire on the ground for more traction.

but, down the road it will be getting coilovers....but they are not really in the budget right now.

and yes, i hate the bumper....but its sturdy and came with the jeep. it will be replaced in the next couple months

What is a Jeepforum Cherokee? That bumper helped pull my *** out. It might not be pretty but it works.
