Had a little time after work today so I put in some work on the hydro.

Made some uhmv spacers for the hydro assist. Turns my 8" ram into a 6.75" ram.

And made some templates and cut out the mounts for the axle side ram mount

Some updates. Picked up a nice set of snap-on ratchet straps for $20 from Costco.

Got some balancing beads for my currently unbalanced tires.

Made and welded the axle side ram brackets on. along with repainting steering links with a little better paint.

And got the box ready for installation.

also broke the locker and stripped the splines on the rear chromos while trying a pretty difficult line.

Couldn't quite handle the abuse. Plus, witnesses were saying they kept seeing a tire slip.

Not good. But it makes sense wanting an arb

Yea the e locker apparently doesn't have a great reputation in the 8.8 when used hard. So I wouldn't want to take a chance of breaking one of those also. Plus it's still on a backorder. And the ARB is known for it's strength.

I can say though that I did give the ected a fair test. And I do think with most people wheeling it would be just fine

Your right. Honestly I'd prefer a spool. This is just me and I'd say you have given more than a fair review! You tested that to the max. If I do ever go bigger I want one up front.
