I would think you are exactly the kind of Jeeper that shouldn't go with bigger rims. Just a thought

17" is pretty much what everyone is going to now so the tire and wheel options are better.

And 17" really isn't that big for a 37" tire. And as far as I know there is no 37" mtr for a 15" wheel

00XJ limited.....Tons, ORI's, Caged
92xj....Linked, Locked, Caged, Armored...RIP
what are leaf springs?

I suppose by the time the tires are that big... it'll look like 35's on 15's, but will create an illusion that the body of the Jeep looks smaller, like a 'Zuk'.

17" is a good option when you go 37's because you cut back on the amount of sidewall you would have if you ran a 15" wheel and 37's. Too much sidewall can be a bad thing.

Id say go for it, only reason I am looking at 17s is for when I do bigger axles to clear the brakes. Plus they dont look all that bad, we run 37x12.5x17 MTRs on 17" beadlocks on the show TJ at work.

I really want to do the weld on beadlocks at the same time as everything, but not sure the cash will be there

This was a semi-serious post by the way.
