Oh and throw frame stiffeners into that whole thing too.
In that whole statement I didn't see te first reason to comp cut

But you wouldn't stretch? You do realize how pointless that would be and it would look like @ss, right? You can do all of those things without comp cutting it.

You can still comp cut an XJ, but don't do it unless you stretch it. My bud did his, but he only gained about 4" from turning the springs around. IMO, it was lots of work for not much gain.

And when you reverse the axle position to the rear half of the spring, the rear axle comes forward as the spring compresses. Not much, but it does reverse the arc of travel.

This is part of the reason why jeepspeed set ups are longer bastard packs with huge shackles. Then again, if regulations let you, they'd all run axle-unders so yeah.

With the shackle in the back the wheel will still travel backwards during compression

X2. I have a 110 that Ive done odd jobs with and it does great and doesnt take up much space. Im about to use it to do my repair to my little rotted section of the rear unibody rail.

And lookin good SFR! Pictures never do anything justice and those look like some steep climbs. I bet they are even more pucker factor worthy in person.

Only reason I'd comp cut and stretch the rear wheel base would be if I converted to coils in the rear. I can't stand when people comp cut them and just leave the rear open like that without doing any body work. Drives me insane.

Gotcha, I couldnt tell if it was just that steep or not. Pictures never do justice
