SFR, what bender do you use? Me and a friend of mine have talked about going in together on a JD2 and an 1.5" die.

So started my skid plate.

The materials... 1/8" aluminum plate, some 1/4 aluminum strips, some 3/16" angle, and a 2x3' piece of 3/8" uhmv.


I cut the aluminum to the shape of the opening between the 2 crossmembers.



And I cut the angle into a few pieces and welded them to the crossmembers. These will serve as some of the mounting points for the skid.

Well I clocked up my tcase by using a tailshaft housing from a yj ax15. Doing this moved my tcase up so I can make a flatter skid and allows me to use a 1 piece shaft. so yesterday I built a new front driveshaft.

I'm not, but there are a couple stickers I do like that will go up on,the roof between the cage bars. Only visible from above or heavy off camber situations.
