So I decided to rip into the Gauge Cluster wires and have a few hocked up. The blinkers don't work, there are no wire placement for the tec, speedo, fuel, temp, oil pressure, or even the voltage. The 98 appears to have a single line feed that carries this as a main signal through out and the 98 gauge cluster instrument panel holds the circuitry that decifers that signal.

So for this project i may need to rip out the 98 gauges, retrofit the 95 into the 98 housing, and make a new lighting system. Or try to backwards configure the electronics and hook into that part of the circuit board. Ive even thought about completely building a new housing for the Tec, Speedo, blinkers, and warning lights. Then place the temp, volt, heat, and oil gauges along the door/window plastic. I need to get this done as soon as I can.

I am done for the night working on the 98 to 95 component gauge cluster instrument panel. It will have the most of the warning lights, Speedo, and Tec gauges. I did take a few pics while working on it but I will try to put them up tomorrow some time. I would like to get the warning lights installed but I dont have enough time to do before actually driving it. So for the most part I will only have the speedo and tec working. Hopefully I have the wiring done and hooked up tomorrow along with holes for the warning lights.

Had to trim a little from the gauges.

How it looks so far.

Could someone tell me what size tire I can fit on my stock suspension? I just got some much needed money for some tires.

Sorry I was in a bit of a hurry this morning when I got home from work and I wasn't near a computer. I picked up my cellphone and tried to post the links. Pictures have been edited and to make a long story short its been installed and working for the last 3 days, it just took me longer to add the pictures. As for the warning lights, I am still thinking of how to install them so that I can remove them for future final product.

At another note, I was doing some eBay research and seen some white gauge cluster skins but they are in Kpm and then secondary Mph. The listing list them for the Grand Cherokee. Is there any other ones that can work for the 95 Cherokee gauges

And current tires are p225 75r 15. Will the 235 75r 15 fit with little to no rubbing as long as the suspension doesn't flex so much?

Today I purchased two 31 x 10.5 tires, have them balanced, one installed on the passenger side and bolted on... NO ISSUES!!! Now to the side... I noticed that the leaf is very flexed, I put the wheel on and lowered it.... the body actual rests on the tire. I go and check the first tire I installed and it has clearance all around and the leaf is in good flexing state. The other one is in need of replacement. I planned on giving it a s10 bastard lift but will this hinder my ability of using the original Jeep leaf spring?

Here are a few pics of the driver side rear leaf spring:

Here is a pic of the 31 x 10.5 15 mounted on the other side. As you can see it fits perfect!

And for a laugh, here is are few pics of a toy Jeep that I cleaned up and repainted for an R/C vehicle of mine. Just wish it was this easy to make my 95 Cherokee look better!

I just put on order for 2 gauge cages, one that is a single and another that holds 3. With some more slight modifications I will have all gauges installed and working! Thank you Amazon!

Off to the salvage yard to get my 01 s10 leafs for $35 each! That's the cheapest all around here! I'm excited.... but now what else will I need? Also what springs will I need to get for the front? I want to pick up all of my parts today from the scrapyard, what year and vehicle do I need to get these from?

I found that page while I was in the AutoValue Parts Plus store getting my new Ubolts for the rear lift then I couldn't find the page after I closed my cellphone browser (HTC EVO : Sprint) Thank you for the link, I am so happy that you put this on my page. I am on the floor rolling with joy! THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update: I have test fitted the new gauge cages that I got a few days ago and now I am modding the current gauges to fit in for now. A little black tape will hold them in until I get the funds to purchase my replacements. Im thinking of going all digital but then again my funds will all depend on what I will be getting! Here are a few pics of what I got:

New U bolts and Hood Pins

Work space for the time being:

What the start out when you pull them:

Wire cutters work great to trip the access. Heres what it looks like after you trim them:

What it looks like when you file them down:

What it looks like when you set it in place:

And best of all, heres the 31" on, lift in the rear, and hood pins installed:
