I have an identical one in the garage awaiting install. Was going to try to do it this weekend, but remembered I need to re-upholster it first. One thing mine didn't come with, the outside temp sensor, I need one and the wiring it comes with.

Also, if CJ7-Tim sent you any good directions for install... please share!! He has been very helpful to me in the past with advice via PM etc. Love this site for that.

Looks great man!

You can just need to find a console all XJ's 97-01 are pre-wired for this even SE 99 would be a plug and play swap every other year plus is slightly different.

Yea you just need to buy a sensor the wiring is already there it's in the middle of the front right behind the bumper. the sensor is 15 at autozone stateside not sure about Canada.

I left the darker gray cause i like the break up in colors im gonna grab visors out of a 98 so it's a complete pattern.

Let me copy it off the disc and if yahoo will allow me i can send you the write up and wiring schematic for 97-98 consoles and 00-01 i just deleted the plug.

Overall today it took about 3 hours but i spread it out throughout the day since i put a new head unit in my gf's jetta and un packed from my trip.

Tomorrow i am gonna install my sub and my new injectors.

Thanks man, appreciate it...and thanks to CJ7-Tim (again). I will look up the sensor here, worst case I am sure that the dealership will have them.

Well today as if injector were not enough i installed my amp and sub the amp is a temp till i can find a plug from my kenwood.

Then while at a flea market in flordia i found this receiver and it would not accept a normal D ring so i used a reamer and made it fit one for 3 bucks i am happy.

Yea i was always wishing to do more with the 00 so this time i am going all out plus i got both skids for 75 i couldn't pass that up. I know the oem trans skid does not offer alot of protection but some is better than none.

For today after i install the gas tank skid i am going to load my bumper up and bring it to my gf's house since her father is gonna help me make it my own.
