Fail. I bought a 2001 Classic brand new. Had 17 miles on it when I picked it up. Sold it in 2005 for a Jaguar

Well yesterday i removed the lift from the 2000 it took me 2 days to put it on and took 2 hours to strip it of it lol weirs how that always works.

I am for sure the blue xj came with a set i stupidly sold thinking i was never gonna run them it was my biggest regret. when i can find a job im going to wrap the ICONS in 245 75 16 good year duratracs or copper discovery stc.

Clean i removed the valve cover not a bit of sludge that baby is coming off i think and going into storage as a spare if i can get it off in time the 00 has to be gone by monday .

So tomorrow after i get done with with NYS job hunting BS tomorrow i gotta get the rear shocks off the 00 and fix my leaf pack then i should be good to start my lift Thursday i just have to find my spare disco pics and im 100% golden.

Wow, nice XJ! I did the same thing last year. My '00 Limited is my trail rig, and it was just at the point where I couldn't keep daily driving it, so I bought a creampuff '01 Limited. I was going to leave it alone, but a few months later I put a 2" BB on it (bastard pack w/ XJ leafs from my old leaf packs, and front spacers) with 245/75R16 All-Terrains. I love the look, mint condition with a little lift. I'd say to do the same and keep this one on the street, but I hear ya on already having a DD.

Yea this will by no means be a rocker crusher or a hardcore wheeler i may be getting a winch bumper for cheap but i may just get it and run the how hooks i have to keep it clean. I am keeping the flares and all that bs if i ever want to get more stupid ill pick up like a 96 or older ans beat the piss out of that.

I paid 3000 for it put over 40,000 on it in 18 months i got my moneys worth out of it.

I finally got the remaining parts off the 00 so tomorrow im calling the scrappers to come get it.
