Well i finally got the jeep back They did the mains oil pump front and rear main seals and a t-stat but they would not do the heater core saying it was a wear item and my idler fell in there as well.

what weird is that i have a book called, "the standard catalog of jeep, 1940-2003" and it says that the SE and classic models were dropped in 2001, and you were only able to get sports and limiteds because they were more popular...anyone have any info on this? did they make them for a short time, or is the book i have just a failure?

I would say failure because the build date on this classic is mid 01 so it had to be one of the last xjs built.

Hey do you still have the 00???

I have a drivetrain in a xj at my house, but its the older body style and id like to update the look. If all it needs is the motor/tranny/transfer i would like to save it from the crusher!!

Plus im only 30-40 minutes from middletown so i can pick it up easily

**1988 Cherokee - the project
**2000 Regal GS - Supercharged, cammed, headers, laptop tuner, full suspention and ALOT more
**2000 zx9r - the speed freak
**2000 sea-doo XP - plain fun
