I am really not sure if they are a u pull type someone on cherokee forum sent me there way so i assume they do allow you in the yard. I just called and they cut the axle out and i went and picked it up if it was summer i would have asked to do it myself.

Thanks i had some practice over the summer when i re did the engine bay in my jetta.

Well i was hoping today was gonna be an easy one and i would just be able to slap the brakes on the drive side and be done till i get the U bolts, shims and re build the shaft for my IRO SYE.

This is how the day went down though i was starting to the brakes when i noticed that rust had built up under the flange that holds the axle in causing it to almost slit.

Luckily i had a good flange laying around, So i removed that and went to sisco auto parts and bought a timken bearing and seal and siscos pressed it on the shaft for me.

All said and done it cost me 100 bucks since i needed the bearing and seal and i had to buy a slide hammer to get the axle out but now it's all pretty.
