i cant remember, but i think the clayton leaves were only a few bucks more than the IRO leaves, because IRO charges some silly amount for shipping, and clayton doesn't.

may be something to look into...I plan on ordering my 6.5s soon.

Clayton's are more expensive before shipping then the IRO leafs shipped. I was charged $70ish dollars shipping.

It appears that if you put all the weight of a falling xj on the right rear leaf without long enough bump stops you invert it, stupid hill...

i didn't read the whole thing....but it seems like factors such as axle width, suspension travel etc would have something to do with it as well, and even if ugly skinny tires are better, I bet the advantages over a 12.5'' tire are not noticeable enough for anyone to truly care.

clayton has free shipping, thus the clayton leaves are only 70ish more expensive.

Looks like it will be a little longer on the WJ swap, my computer decided to take a dump. So I took that opportunity as a chance to upgrade. I have to wait for the next paycheck to start buying the swap parts.

Installed the leaf springs today, now my rear DS is too short and the splines are showing.

Had to go back to factory shackles in the rear, otherwise I'd be sitting at over 8" of lift

Tell me which leaf spring was bad...
