Sunday I'm going to look at this and hopefully pull the XJ from DD duty http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/cto/3893741196.html

I pretty much decided to not put the money into fixing the jag since it needs a new trans and that costs more than it's worth.

I love those cars. I saw one run a quarter mile in then tens before, and it looked just like that one. They are awesome cars.

So I looked at the Marauder and well the paint was not good, AC didn't work well and the trans shuddered when the converter locked up. I offered him a very fair offer and he turned it down he basically wants top dollar for a worn out vehicle that needs work.

Also it was quickish but not fast by any measure.

Hey man how close is your tie rod to the pumpkin at full lock? And is there anyway to run the tre on top of the knuckle for more clearance?

With my after market diff cover and 1.25" steering links and off set TREs it is around .5" away from the diff. Yes you can run the TREs on top of the knuckle but you need to find the RHD TRE for the drag link to knuckle.

With heims and a straight 1.5" tie rod it will hit the diff at full lock.

So my starter freaking died today without any warning. Good thing I'm a pack rat and keep everything and had an old starter laying around.
