I found the vacuum leak, it was at cyl 5 and 6. I just tighted the manifold bolts some more, they had come loose a little, and now it is fine.

How did you hook up the tranny temp gauge and what kind did you get? I'm thinking of adding a cooler and would like to add a gauge at the same time.

-Rudy- we aren't allowed to talk about those sorts of things, we will make the hippies mad [/QUOTE]

Haha, isn't that the truth. My 08 Mustang GT lost it's cats when the nitrous was installed. And that was about a month after I bought it. Dumb hippies.

I got an Auto Meter sport compact gauge from summit racing. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-3357/

And to make installing the sending unit much easier I got the Auto Meter Temperature Manifold Adapter. I just cut the factory hard line and put this on and called it a day. I tried one of the T-fittings from Lowes and that was a waste of time, it always leaked and eventually broke when I tightened it too much.

This is basically how I hooked it up (it is an old picture from when I had my last xj):

So after fixing that vacuum leak my gas mileage has gone back up to where it was before. Now to get that front drive shaft to fit...

I tried to put the rear disk brakes on yesterday and that was a no go. The XJ abs sensor will not fit in the ZJ backing plate.
