muffler side pipe exhaust

so I tacked my rotted out exhaust today took a few hours, I think it came out good. ended up with a flow master 40 (original ) since cherry bomb sucks in quality control .

I wouldn't expect that tip to last very long on my XJ. It looks damage prone if you wheel in the rocks.

I'm sick of my turn down after the muffler, so I'll probably run a tail pipe to just shy of the rear bumper to prevent bending it under as I had it before.

Yeah I hear ya. I don't wheel much any more. But wanted something different. Not too much hangs down .

I am curious how its hung. I had a donated borla once but it was half *** installed and was way too loud.

That would last a total of maybe 500 ft on a trail here ! It is unique looking but I prefer function over form thus my exhaust being tucked up nice and tight

Im the same way I cant find it in me to lift my jeep more then 2" just because we really have no trails that need more. I have to drive 400 miles into SD so I would rather have a good highway trip.

here are some more pics, nothing hangs lower then the muffler . just the tip could get ripped off by a passing tree or rock.

Very interesting method. I don't think the muffler on my 96 xj went that far back. My exit pipe was almost a 90 degree
