Finally cleaned my jeep after wheeling in the blowing dirt and river 2 weeks ago. Little to no more dirt and sand inside and out. Although I am sure some will expose itself over the next few days like it always does. Thought it was a good way to kill a few, a little more than 3, hours.

Also took a pic with the flag and played with my phones filter settings a little.

We'll see how long she will stay clean. Gonna clean under the body soon to make it look good with all the new parts that will be on it!

Rear is done! Only after a hassle with my damn old leafs. All 4 bolts were stuck onto the sleeves after I un-threaded them. But made quick work of them with a cutting wheel and grinder on the bolts and forced the eye's out. Worked out good for one side, the other was more difficult after prying out the leafs. While doing so I ended up stripping the threads off the front eye nut. So I had to cut a little trapezoid out from underneath the nut. Knocked the welded nut out and replaced it. After that is was a cake walk beside Rough Country's screw up on the relocators. Whoever welded the nuts on didn't weld them straight so it made it a pain in the ***. Just re-tapped the nuts and everything went in real easy. Started working on it around 5:00 and didn't get done till 1:30 in the morning. Now I just have to put the brake line in and do the SYE then its onto the front.

Also put my CB antenna on with a custom mount!

And if I want to go into a parking garage, if i fit, or park inside a house garage I will never hit the antenna on the roof! Also makes it so i will never break my antenna while wheeling.

Forgot to mention that it was a pain in the *** to put the "recommended" OEM bushings into the Old Man Emu leafs. Had to use a socket and ball joint press kit to get them in.

I got 6.5" of lift (over stock, 2.5" over original lift) from the upgrade and can go up to 7.5 with the adjustable shackles and higher with the relocators. But for now I will stay at 6.5 and move it up when I get a bumper and other miscellaneous add on's to compensate for the weight.

I can't wait till its finished either!

Ordered my SYE and got it from UPS last week. Just put it on yesterday!

Now I can flex and wheel again without the worry of my DS falling out!
I will say it went easier than it did my rear leafs but just a tedious job. Didn't get done till 1:30 in the morning again. Now its all about getting the front done and seeing what shocks I need. Hopefully I can have my jeep done before August 10th and be ready for one of my not so local oklahoma clubs flex competition they are having. $100 to the one who can score the best on a 20* RTI ramp!

Currently trying to find a long arm upgrade I like. Looking for one that has good crossmember set up.

Any suggestions from any onlookers?

Just ordered my long arms and an adj. double shear trac bar. Buying some Rough Country 6.5 coils off a fellow XJer for now. Sway bar disco's, brake lines, bumpstops are soon to come also. Then its on to the WJ knuckle swap if I get the time before good ol' college starts back up. If not then it will have to wait.

Iron Rock Offroad. Liked their crossmember the best and have seen the kit in action. If it wasn't for XJAbuzer having them I probably would have gone a different route. Nothing but negative feedback all over any forum for the kit that seems to work the best. I am sure I will be happy with it and IRO's awesome customer service. Also ordered my double shear trac bar from them.

How much of a pain was that to install? I think I might go with that instead of this HnT that's been sitting.

Yeah, internet reviews are not always what they are cracked up to be. I originally bought Rubicon Express for my first lift (short arm lift with full leaf packs) because of all the great reviews I read online and I had nothing but trouble with that kit. Leaves bent easy and bushings were crap (which I hear they have fixed) and the customer service was just pure awful, at least with my experience.

It wasn't so much hard to put in just a long and tedious process. You'll get madder at the lock and snap rings than anything else.
