trek's new 4300 disc for the 2010 year is pretty good, they added lockout to it as well. we just go a few in my shop. retails under 600. not bad for what you're getting

honestly, i am not a fan of trek haha. the district is a pretty cool bike though. i thought they couldve mad it a little nicer for the price though. my rep just dropped off a sweet demo bike for me to try out this weekend though. session 88 FR

i casually rode off our loading dock and didn't feel a thing. i can't wait to take it to diablo freerride park. it's probably the coolest feat of engineering i've ever seen. the suspension linkage made me... well... this is a family forum

Sweet Trek

I am stoked to see a few of you fellow bikers on here. Was camping all weekend didn't get a chance to snap a pic of my own ride, and I started the thread.

lol

Mountain bike: Specialized S-Works Epic with full XTR.

Here's a shot of it from our trip to Canada last year:

Road bike: Specialized Allez Elite 105/Ultegra:

Who says road riding has to be a fair weather sport??

Before I moved up north, this was a typical weekend at my buddy's place in North Carolina:

Mine is the silver one (pre-paint job).

This Jeep has been a bike-carrier from day one. Of the 200K miles on it, I can honestly say that over half of them were done with a bike attached on the way to the (bike) trail.

Have a old Specialized ground control. Was a pretty good bike for its time (97). Sadly since my boys were born I haven't really had the time to ride for the last 3 years. . but here is a pic anyway.

I live and breath the twin rubbers! Race on the weekends, if no racing --- riding the local trails. We camp quite often and being in NC lends to some very serious East coast riding.

Thule rack. 58" bars... can hold a lot of gear.

At the race:

Fun all - mtn trail, all around killer ride:

Race bike:

'07 SJ frame, XO front / rear, XT M770 crank (Not pictured), SLR wheelset - UST, carbon bar (cut to a 560 length), Juicy carbons -- it's light and FAST.

My dog and I - local trail:

Get a room you two. Apparantly you are the only 2 that Mtn bike on here...or at least are comfortable enough with your sexuality to admit it and post a bunch of self-biking pics on a Jeep forum.....

I don't have a pic as it's torn down right now, but I've got a Schwinn S-10 (scored on craigslist for $460). I beat the hell out of it after my YJ was stolen and had to ride 40 miles a day for two years, so I'm getting ready for new shocks, derailleurs and gears.

Cant seem to upload any pics for some reason. Im rockin an 05 norco a-line. you know, the giant one that weighs as much as me soaking wet. Damn things a tank but it sure is fun to ride it. Ive been hitting some dirt jumps on it down in austin tx. I might add that a dh bike with 9" of travel has no business getting thrown around on some dirt jumps made by twenty inch riders. Im going to keep trying with these pics though.
