Mountain Biking Cherokee Owners... whats your ride?

Hey All,
I have seen a number of you on here talking about Mountain Biking and a bunch of shots of your rigs with your bikes on them. I just did a weekend trip to Whistler for some DH fun and the Cherokee was a SWEET vehicle to haul all of our stuff.

Any shots of your rigs and bikes? Whats your bike? DH/XC/AM? What was your last MTB + Jeep road trip? What rack are you rolling with?

Last trip...

I am rolling on a 2007 Norco Shore Freeride bike. Sweet kit, 2009 Domain, Hadley Hubs, Shimano Drivetrain all loaded on a 2000 Cherokee Classic (see Profile for details).

I have a new closeup bike photo somewhere...lol

no pics, but I had an 07 perp II, sold it though, so now all I have is an 06' Kona stuff custom build, just a street/dj bike. will be getting a specialized demo 7 within the next month or so. I'm very jealous you made it whistler, I'd love to go there.

im not too crazy into MT biking but i run a trek 4300 that i built, shimano drivetrain and mechanical discs, and a manitou super skareb fork, it is a super light XC fork, but when i am hill climbing i have to struggle to keep the front on the ground, i forget what model of sun rims im running, and then some kenda 2.3s

its not a wild bike, but i have to ride it to school during the year too, so i need decent road tires too.

i run a bike shop so it's been built a few times.

lower your air pressure and a slighty shorter stem will help keep your front tire down. and use a harder gear for those hills, too much torque in the easier gears

sweet i'm not the only bike mechanic here!

i run mine single speed sometimes, 32-16 gearing, even with the hills. there's few climbs i dont make with that gearing.
