Oh thanks. I'll try that out.
I do have some extensions that I never used for my YJ I can use.
Last night I put the 3/4" spacers on. Sits more level now.

With that brakeline on the front, it seemed to me like there was too much slack and the brakeline may get snagged or tangled. I zip tied the brakeline to the shock working from the bottom up.

lift test

So after driving around for a week , I have some issues that need to be dealt with .
1.) Have some minor vibrations in the driveline from 45-65mph (accel and decel ) . I may replace both u-joints in the DL cause they look original but have no slop in them . Or put a 2* shim in the rear.
Do any of you have DL vibes with a 3" lift ???

2.) Due to the 3.75 back spacing I have, the tires rub a bit while turning after adding the spacer its not as bad but I may have to trim the back lower edge of the flare and have already trimed the front a bit.

3.) The disconntects look way too long and that puts the swaybar at a wierd angle (which is not good for handling) . I know the swaybar angle is just above level with the ground from the pic I took.
So . should I cut em' down and weld or do they offer shorter disco's.

4.) Ive gotta bumpstop this thing. Coming form a YJ, this XJ has mad flex.

.

Linked up and no rubbin.

Disconnects are on. I flipped the bracket that bolts onto the swaybar itself and measured/compared to the stock link. It was a tad over 3 inches . I was able to bolt em' on and drive today. Corners way better. Nice and flat, no lean.
I still have to get those lower bolts out . May try the air-hammer tomorrow.

Finally got the lower bolts out today and bolted on the lower pins. I'll install the retainers at work.

This weekend Im gonna start on the rear-end swap so I can set a date to get the front gears changed out.

Update pics w/ Flex

Swaybar links worked by flipping the upper bracket.

Measured up .It made the swaybar alittle higher maybe an inch or two but no Ill handling effects .

Gonna have to bumpstop sometime soon.

Made sure the brakeline was OK.

Flexxxxxxx.

Rear axle swap

Started on the rear axle swap today. Should have my OX axle from my YJ out here in a hour. Luckily it looks like the cable should go up to my console.

You ever considered getting the chrome headlight bezels to match the grille? I think that would complete the look nicely.

Otherwise looking good man!

Its a fold up tow bar. When I build a bumper that'll come off.

Thanks. I do have those chrome visors .

This weeknd I cut off mounts on axles so I can put my OX axle in but ran outta time during the weekend.
Monday after work (5pm) I began the actual swap and finshed up at 4:30 this morning. Slept about 2-1/2 hrs and went to work. Im tired, I'll post pics tomorrow.

rear axle continued.......

So a few days after my OX axle swap the XJ was taken to a shop to get the front gears done and the rear driveline lengthened (cause the new rear axle the pinion to axle distance was shorter).
Picked it up friday night and most of the DL vibes are gone but still have some at 30-40mph so I may add a 1/2 spacer to the t-case mount and see if that helps.
Somehow the rear axle swap lifted the rear about 1/2" or more . IDK maybe the rear hasent settled yet from being on the hoist .
Tested the 4wd today and works great but havent hooked up the OX cable yet. That'll be tomorrow or during the week.
