Not sure on the weight. Im sure its a bit more than most since its custom built.
I did some work on it today . Welded the legs on to mount it to my bars but then ran outta gas for the welder. Started sawzall-ing the spacers between the hoops and broke my last blade so I called it a day.

I have a few thoughts about the paint . Tell me whatcha think ?
1.) Black (flat or shiney) standard rack color. OR.....
2.) Metallic green (like the jeep color)
3.) Dark drab (army green)

Took some before pics too.

The army green could be a cool looking combination with the rig being green, creative and unique

So I just had my taxes done and now can look at lifts . Im thinking of going with the RC 4.5 X series because it has all the extras I'd end up getting anyway Brake lines, Adj Track bar, ect . Any pro's or cons to this lift ???

At 4.5", you need to make arrangements for a Slip Yolk Eliminator...and a new driveline.

You can get by with a t-case drop but Id definately look into an SYE. I had 4.5" X-Flex on my old '99 and ran t-case drop. Worked fine but was certainly not ideal.

Are these gonna rub ???

So I am re-thinking this 4.5" lift and maybe going 3" cause I forgot I need the front axle regeared when I throw the other rear in. Wich makes my lift fund a bit smaller .
Here's my prob. I have a set of 15x8 softies with 3-3/4 backspacing, 31x10.5
BFG-AT's mounted .
Are these gonna rub if I go the 3" lift ???

I run 31's, 3" front, 4.5" rear (heavy speaker box). She sits level. I catch an edge on my flares from time to time, but nothing that's ever gonna do any damage

Rack w/ lights

Here's the rack how I got it . It was 8.5" tall so it needed to be cut down badly and it was a bit rusty . My crossbars next to it so i can mok up some mounts.

Some 2" spacers for the hoops and 1.5" angle cut to 2" wide for mounts and some mounts I cut in 2 for lights.

All mounted up and painted army green. 7 light mounts (3-front , 1 each side, and 2 facing the rear for those pesky tailgaters) . Also mounted my fogs up front.
Lookin a bit more Expo .

I had some headlight visors hangin around and put those on. Not sure if they'll stay. Hhmm maybe I'll paint em' army green.

I think its at least around 60lbs + - . It was built for a photographer to stand on so it has thick tubing . In the future I may cut out the bottom and redo it to make it lighter, plus it has the mesh metal welded on. . Measurements are 62"length x 49"w.

I had a headlight go out a few days ago and today I picked up a new set of Sylvania Silverstars . These are wayyyy better than my old lights.

Gonna be ordering my lift monday. Then I'll swap out the rear axle and have the front re-geared to 4:10 also .

I've kinda got Karma working for me... I've wanted to get a pair of those Silverstars, but in 4 years I haven't needed a headlight replaced yet.

Lift and disconnects should be in by tomorrow.
