ModStock's X-Bomb Sport

My first cherokee. Had it about a month and I love it . My previous ride was a built 89 YJ 4-cylinder , so this was a big step up in luxury and power.

Yeah it has a really nice towbar but that can be used in emergencies . Since a tow bill would be more exspensive than renting a truck these days.

Engine cleaned up nice . Almost new looking.

Only mod ive done was transfer my light covers from the YJ to the XJ.

Cant wait to lift it.............One day .....Next spring.

Clean Jeep man. Your ock rails look as polished as the doors, a rare find round here. Also good call on going for a 99, F the 0331. And don't let the haters get to you about the plastic wheel covers, there fun till there not and when that time comes just sell them to a used car dealer. They seem to be the only people who ever buy them anyways.

But looks like a good find. Any plans for it or rockin da stock for a bit?

I don't suppose the base mount for the tow system looks like this... I put the mini-D's on the mounting bolts and now people think its a custom bump bar.

I came up with this design for the front bumper after seeing a cool J-series
truck.
Maybe something made out of 2x4 or 2x6 rectangular steel 3/16th thick.
Should be almost deer proof .
Some changes may be necessary during build.

Maybe you should avoid the pervious owners neighborhood, he might have been a peeping tom.

I'll get some before pics tomorrow. I just had some keys made for the locks on the cross-bars, so now I can take those off to fab the legs to bolt it to.
The measurements are 62x49 and 8 inches tall .
Im gonna cut it down and put 2 inch length rods inbetween hoops. That should give it and overall height of 3 1/2 inches.
