I wouldn't be happy about the pitting on a brand new part going under the Jeep. I guess it's not that big a deal but still - you paid for a shiny new part.

I'm interested in seeing the install of it though. Gonna use a front XJ shaft or custom made?

Front xj shaft. I'm going to email DirtBound and make them aware of the quality of there product. I probably won't do business with them again :-/

I need a friend with a name like Kodiak

He looks like he can "influence" siezed nuts/bolts/parts at will.

What are ya gonna do with all the stuff you pulled off the donor?

Hes a 6'4" 430lb beast. He didn't have any issues gettin bolts off

The 7.5" Rubicon express leafs and springs are going to my buddy Lane and I'm getting his 5.5" Rubicon express leafs and springs. 7.5" lift is more then I wanted so the deal worked out in everyone's favor. Everything I pulled from the donor I'll be using.

Is that a Detroit? Are you gonna swap axle shafts while everything is apart? Couldn't remember if the Detroit had a 29 spline input option.

Your Jeep is gorgeous

Just a pointer- The paint code is listed as Silverstone Metallic, not Silverthorn

Yes they are "louder" but I can't hear mine unless I have all the windows up and it really isn't that loud. I'll deal with a little noise to save 50% on gears vs yukon.
