I work remote in Alaska on a 2 week on, 2 week off schedule so it'll be a few more days until I'm home

I'm procrastinating on the discs. I'm looking for a set of 4.10 axles so I don't have to waste the money on "building" mine.

4.56s, lockers and did cover installed. A HUGE thanks the AKIQPiolet for helping with the install. Couldn't have done it without him or his expertise! Thanks again Tom

Good times Sam. What a great install we had. All new gears and bearings, all the races and seals replaced plus lockers installed. Everything shimmed, pressed, locktighted and torqued to spec. 4:56 gears and lockers in the front and rear. Pour in a little synthetic gear lube and off for a test ride. Took us 8 hours, start to finish. A little longer than I was hoping but we did everything by the book. Lash and preload are perfect. I am very happy with how it came out.

And by the way. One of the nicest XJ's I have ever been around. A very capable off roader with Leather Interior, Factory Infinity System, Outside Air Temp and a Compass. Add to that the Warn Winch, RE Long Arm, Bilstein Shocks, Super nice 35" Tires, Carpet Delete, all locked up and this makes for one super nice wheeling rig. My wheeling buddies were in awe at how nice this rig is. I can't wait to wheel together someday soon.

Boredom

Added a little light. I used Kevin108s thread to help me with the wiring. I used my stock fog light plugs and switch

Looking good man!

And thats handy that you two live close enough to help each other out. A big part of what really got me into Jeeps is how tight knit the community is, and how many Jeep owners are good people in general. And as a side note, Im super jealous of the Alaskan scenery, but man my rig would be out of place up there. From the wheeling pics Ive seen AKIQpilot post Id be sunk right off the bat. Its so wild how different areas require such different setups.

Anyhoo, keep the updates/pics comin MOBBIN! Nice rig for sure, been watching the thread for quite a while.

Tom has been a HUGE help to me. He lives about 50 miles away from me, it's not exactly close but it's not that far. His rig is gaigantic compared mine and when I get out with them I'm sure ill need my winch. Well see how the mtr/k do compared to the TSLs! I see swampers in my future. Thanks for the kind words, ill be watching your build as well. I really like your rear bumper
