So after I did my hood vents, there was all this talk about fouling the TPS sensor, and also alot of people saying it will be fine, after having ran vents for years. Well I figured hey, why not prevent what COULD happen. So I started making some brackets tonight..Figured why not cover the MAP anyways, but apparently it is already water proof?

Just waiting for the paint to cure before I install

How well does this intake work while driving in the rain? Ive been thinkin about doing something with my stock box, specially after hitting some deep holes today and getting my filter soaked.

I haven't had any issues with driving in the rain, and we have had some good down pours here since I have installed it

Well about a week ago, my alternator crapped out in a drive thru at 2:30am, while driving some friends home. Got it boosted enough to get it home. Then I started tearing it apart. (What a ****ty location for an alternator.

Removed battery, battery box, e-fan, serp belt, front skid plate, and disco front sway bar. (All for 2 bolts to get the alternator out)

New alternator is charging at 14.2 I found that the new alternator pully wasa bit larger, which made it a bit tougher to get the belt back on, but it's good to go now.

OLD

EVERYTHINg OUT

NEW

^ Had the same problem 2 weeks ago.. Only had to remove the battery and box.. Little snug but yanked it out without fan or sway disco.. Agreed.. I wish there was a relocation bracket for the alt.. I replaced one and blew it up a day later wheelin'.. Good thing for lifetime warranty at Autozone..

big tires dont grow on trees, gears, locker, flares, wheels and tires all at once is a big financial commitment.

Yes.. this is the next BIG step. I am also saving for a trip to Moab in October 2012 as well as to Edmonton in August. So the Jeep is taking a bit of a backseat right now. It's wheelable and daily drivable so I'm content right now.

Picked up a used utility trailer for $50 (5x8 with tilt)...Has new coupler and tongue. The deck is in pretty good shape. I have some simple plans for it, but it's not my main concern right now. I bought it to haul loads of soil, sand, gravel, rock, and if I buy a sled this winter. Also, I bought a 10" drop receiver, and it still isn't enough (Sucks having a hitch built into the bumper)

Picking it up

Before Paint

Murdered

Everything needs bigger tires!
