Howd you mount those lights in the cowl? Seems like a really obvious question I know but I cant make it out for sure in the picture, amd I really like them there. Anything fancy or just drill and mount? I havent had my wiper cowl off to see what Ive got to work with under there.

They are just bolted right through. Take the cowl cover off and on the driver side there is enough room to get a wrench under it, but on the passenger side you have to cut through the cowl to get a wrench in there. Pretty basic though.

Think I may have found my new fender flares. Built in Moab too!! I like the stock look and they cut out a lot from the fenders too. They are strong and bolt on.

35's on this XJ

They are $500 shipped. Comparable to Bushwacker price, and way better IMO.

Thats really expensive. You can find Bushwackers for about $380 shipped and Napier for about $350 shipped.

Bushwacker is plastic though, and too many pieces for mounting IMO. I like this BEEF stock look. To each their own though. I would love steel tube fenders, but those are ridiculously priced and too "new" in the market

Last night I crawled up a snow bank. Keep in mind I have open diffs and my tires are very low on tread. There is a lot more flex to be had.

I ran those tires in 31s a few years ago. They go so good it felt like I was cheating haha.
