matt62485's 2000 XJ build/re-build

Made a thread in builds, but would rather be in the more specific XJ section... i feel like i'll gather more input and help here.

2000 XJ Sport AW4 NP231... this thing is super clean.

2"BB, moabs, smoked signals and custom projector (real) headlights with hi-beam function.

Had to rebuild the motor (cracked 0331 and collapsed lifter), everything is new besides the block, connecting and pushrods, and hardware.

pic of when it was running.

Valvoline VR1 oil should be here tomorrow (ordered it from NAPA). otherwise all it needs is a battery.

Hope to get it cranked this weekend.

got the upper PITA bellhousing bolts and torque converter bolts in last night. plugged a bunch of connectors and crap back in. pretty close to be able to put the intake/exhaust manifolds and the radiator back on and getting this thing cranked up i hope.

thanks fellas!

did quite a bit of work on it last night. got the exhaust and intake manifolds mounted to the head, bunch of connectors and what not plugged in. basically to the point of bolting the exhaust manidolds to the rest of the exhaust, prime the oil pump, put the radiator on, and battery and crank her up! i cant wait to get this thing out the garage and give it a good bath and put my detours rear tire carrier on, etc etc etc.
