I know than many of my old 1989 Cherokee's parts actually say "Made In Canada" on the back of them.
but then, they also say "AMC" on them

Which Ive taken to mean they were Ford parts made by GM and sold by Honda to AMC.

We live in a world economy, artificially limiting your choices for patriotic reasons will severely limit your choices. I owned a pea green 71 Pinto that I think was made in the USA by a US company. Somewhere that thing is rusting quietly or has completely gone to flakes by now.
