Have any of you had to replace the bushings yet? dosent look like it would be bard to fab them they look like plastic cutting board material


1998 Cherokee 2 door 2.5L 5 speed
2000 Cherokee Sport 4.5in lift 33's (Sold)
1998 Cherokee Sport ORF bumper, Warn vr12, 6.5in long arm ended up netting 8-9in :( (SOLD)

The material is UHMW. tim ran his orignal UHMW pads/ bushings (whatever you wanna call them) on his first slider design for like 4 or 5 years with little to no sign of wear

If you do need replacements they are $2 each. I picked a spare set up just incase

I have the sliders and a hidden hitch on mine. The hardware that came with my jcr nutstrips were just long enough.

If I were to add a gas tank skid to what I already have I would need longer bolts for sure.

Was that 4-5 years of wheeling or street driving

Did you ever wind up with the LII sliders on your XJ? I'm on the fence about buying a set now so I'm hungry for feedback.

Late response sorry, I did get some. They rode awesome and articulated very nice. Really smooth on and off road. My only complaint was how low they hung, they scraped on everything I came off of in the rocks.

Pics? I've seen people weld up a plate on the back of the sliders to keep them from bending in together when you drop down on rocks. Just some extra insurance.

I dont have that truck anymore.

Yeah, it seems odd, but I'm kinda glad to have seen all the comments since I've been eyeballing them myself. Betcha they'll make a cushy OME suspension just that little bit better
