well what do you want to do with your jeep? where do you want it to end up? "alot of different things" doesn't give us a whole lot to go on.

i wanna start out with a lift but i don't have alot of money to invest in this right now. i was told putting in longer sway bars would pick it up higher for rather cheap but idk it sounds kinda weird

i was also told that i could flip the leaf spring brackets upside down and that would give me about 3 inches of lift

no no no.

get a set of spacers for 30 bucks. build a bastard pack. buy a nicer set of tires off of craigslist. used coils. building on a budget means HOUNDING craigslist for deals. and make sure they are deals. just cause you go looking at something, doesn't mean you have to buy it.

my advice. search. many many many people have built their xj on a budget. save your money for what you really want. look at build threads. but really, search. i'll get you started

search:
bastard pack
budget boost
budget build

anyways, here is my jeep. she is lifted 2" and is riding on 30" tires. any questions feel free to ask
