I overlooked a major issue with this lift plan. With the re4.5 and sye I have no idea what length driveshaft I'll need and tried searching my *** off to no avail.

Anyone with a 4.0L auto, 4.5RE lift, 8.25 rear with an SYE have a driveshaft measurement I can steal? No chance I'll be able to get the lift on and measure myself before I need the DS. Maybe what degree shims I'll need to? i figure this exact set up must exist.

I have that combo on my XJ. The length i found should be 3-4" longer then the front DS. I use an extended length front ZJ DS. Its about 3-4" longer.

Friend of mine has 6" total in the rear of his 95 XJ, and using the Hack-n-Tap, we just used a stock front drive shaft. Again, never done a true SYE conversion, but with the H-n-T, you basically lift it, crawl under with the drive shaft you want to use, measure (if you're into following instructions and things like that) and then cut the output shaft off where you need it. Stock front shaft works fine.
