They will crumble pretty easily the way you have them but if you turn them on their side, they are structurally sound. Otherwise, HF sells some great 6 ton units for around $40 that go up high enough for my Jeep.
hmm didnt notice the blocks, dad did that not me lol

What a pile of crap...

Just messin. I know you aren't gettin new tires very soon from what you said, though I would trim the fenders and rear corners before you do.

If you don't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

My Build Thread:http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f177/...96-xj-1007038/

New Mexico Driving Rules...
  • As a general rule, the vehicle most in need of a significant amount of bodywork (for which the driver is most likely uninsured) always has the right of way.
  • Never use directional signals when changing lanes. They only serve to give away your next move, causing most NM drivers to speed up and not let you in. In fact, use of directional signals within most large NM city limits is actual illegal.
  • NM law states that at least 50% of all paved surfaces within the state must be under construction at any one time. In all construction zones, at least half of the available lanes must be closed, regardless of whether any actual construction is be accomplished or not. Construction signs shall be regularly repositioned in order to warn drivers about upcoming lane closures immediately after they pass the last exit before traffic backups.
  • Driving through constructions zones with upcoming lane closures is a popular game in NM. Itís called the "speed up and pass as many cars as you can, then see how close to the lane closure you can squeeze back into traffic before hitting any of the orange construction barrels" game.

ok first ist windy and cold & i hate the most is mech stuff. took off the transfer case cover and got stuck...i need to remove the front shaft so i can let things loose....yeah problem is that no tool my dad or i has fits into that hard to get spot thanks to the rc tranny crossmember..............#$&*@Y#UIRHDfn

so i gave up for today, now we might have to remove the crossmember brackets & drop it with the tranny a little just to get some stupid bolts. and everything is going to shift all over the dang place if we drop it too.

so yeah i hate this atm, ty for reading my horrible rant.

ok so when i went to work today my dad stopped by and took the front shaft off somehow. good... we dont have to mess with the crossmember... so to start advanced adapters forgot to give me 2...2!!!! speedo snap rings.

i need to go around to find a second one now on sat & look for drive shaft at spauldings. im told from my friend that did his sye that he used a 2000+ grand cherokee front shaft.

anyways heres the 1 snap ring i have

old and new shaft

taking out the needle bearings

now shaft is in but waiting on me to get ring

yeah pretty sure you can use the 2000+ front driveline. If I remember right they should be cv drivelines. I have no idea if we have those snap rings at autozone, but I doubt it. Napa or Central 4wd?
