These are the gauges I snagged out of my brothers zj that blew the engine. The photo is of them installed in his jeep. I'm thinking about fabricating an overhead console that houses these gauges, a switch panel, and my cb radio.

I hate a pillar gauges but those are sweet looking other than location. Good luck with overhead if you go that route. I thought about it and there is nothing to anchor to. Please share if you come up with something.

Its not going to be too big. It'll start right at the windshield and extend back about 8" give or take.. I figure I can make tabs that mount to where the visor clips mount (if they're sturdy) or weld some small nuts to the inside of the roof so I can mount it with several small fine thread bolts. Idk. Ill figure it out as I go haha

What the gauges for.. I can't tell. I really want to get a trans temp gauge and a trans cooler with an EFan ... and maybe a fuel pressure gauge ... It's always nice to have real time data .. you can tell right away if your having a problem and what it is.

One is an oil pressure gauge. Just in case my stock sending unit fails. The other is a tach. Dont really need a tach but it was free so can't beat that. I want a trans temp gauge though.

I never understood the way stick shift cars used to come with no tach. I'm glad I have the full gauges cluster in my XJ.

Got a couple small updates. Got a new exhaust setup. Just a flowmaster 40 series with a turn down before the rear axle. Also I got a jcr pre runner hoop as a birthday present so I welded that on amd trimmed the corners of my bumper because they are always in the way of my flex.

Thats the only non-tube bumper I've seen that I like other than c4x4. You have plans for it?

Thanks! Sorry I don't have plans for it :/ I got to caught up in building it that I didn't write much down. But I'm going to redo it eventually with thicker material and a better welder so ill be sure to write some **** down this time.

Nice exhaust setup! Wish I could run mine like that but the vibrations drive me nuts!
