short no, but that dosent mean it wont! And 3 inch blocks will wreck your leafs and lead to more problems, I suggest you do some researching .

Shocks don't generally play a role in DW, but if you are going up 3" I would highly recommend replacing the shocks with some that are made for 3" of lift. Brand is up to your budget and how picky you are about ride quality, but OME and Bilstein are both high quality shock manufacturers.

If you are talking about putting a 3" block under the rear leaf springs, I'd strongly recommend against it. Blocks are not good on Cherokees in general, but a 3" block on stock leaf springs would be especially bad.

Go read here: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/t...ks-tsbs-89273/

Then do some basic searches for the following: Add a leaf, lift block, bastard pack, lift shackle, spacers.

Read some of the threads about what people have to say about them. Then form an informed opinion about your needs, budget, and what you are trying to accomplish based on everything you've researched.

Then ask any more specific questions you may have about a particular setup.

You should put 2, 2 inch blocks on top of each other and rock out at 4 inches!

They increase leverage on the leaf packs which leads to axle wrap under tourqe which leads to fast failing leafs or worse they snap!
