Lets see your pre cherokee rides

What did everybody drive before they got their Jeep and do you miss your previous vehicle or did you XJ make you forget all about it. I had a collection of G-body cutlass' i still cry at night about losing them to cancer this was the most recent one....

1989 Honda CRX, b20 motor swap.

It was fast for a honda but not fast enough. Which is why I sold it. Once my jeep is at the point I want it to be, I will be looking for some type of awd turbo. Maybe a sti, evo, or just build a older talon from the ground up.

I had a 2003 Ford Focus. Supercharged, adjustable valve dampers, race header, blah blah blah. It sure was fun to drive. I still miss it but dont miss the car payment, or the impending threat of a FWD clutch replacement.

My first vehicle.. 1982 Chevy silverado. Retired due to cracked frame.

Then I got a 87 GMC pickup.. totaled when a girl pulled out infront of me.

Then I got my XJ... I am in the process of finding a frame for the 82 though...

I've had too many cars I think... 1st 1993 Ford Ranger, 2nd 1999 Z24 Cavalier, 3rd 90's Mazda 929, 4th 2001 Ford Explorer Sport, 5th 2001 Dodge Ram Cummins on 38's 6th 2002 Nissan Altima Riced (Out so to speak) and then the XJ still have the altima but wish it would die plus my dad is helping me restore a 72 chevelle ss

Nice my dad had a 84 Buick Regal T-type. It was suppose to be mine when I got my license, but money came short and he ended up selling it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Started with a FSJ and then went to a XJ.

Had this for about 2 years, bought it for $175(guy was going to send it to the Junkyard) It needed some major work like (passenger front leaf spring, both fenders, front bumper, carb, frame rust, and rear passenger quarter panel was torn, all window motors). Then In November I got my XJ for $200 and all it needed was header panel, tune-up and steering stabilizer shock.
