I'd hate to get rear-ended by that guy.

To be fair, it would suck to be rear ended by pretty much any off road bumper. No vehicle holds up well when hit by a large mass of 1/4" steel.

I slid into the back of an older camry at low speed in the rain and felt pretty bad that he needed a new bumper and trunk and I didn't even scratch the paint on my bumper.

That same design downsized a bunch with a winch/recovery points wouldnt look all that bad. But as is, it needs an anchor and lifejackets.
